ROCK SOLID NETWORK
100 % SLA for Customer Connectivity
Redundant, Diverse, Multi-homed, Fiber Optic Layer 3 network providing 100% SLA for your networking requirements. Customers are required to bring only a layer 2 switch for connectivity to the internet. Digiport owns its ARIN IP segmentation allowing customers the long term stability of uniform IP addressing.

100% SLA Advantage
Delivering Performance
Digiport announces the introduction of industry leading 100% Network SLA for Data Center customers. Responding to customer requirements for increasing responsiveness to IT issues, Digiport provides 24/7 Network Monitoring and performance analysis. Digiport operates a multi-Carrier, redundant power source network for continuous operations.

Network Diversity
The Value of Multi-Path Network Design
Most ISPs continue to utilize "loop" based connectivity to core IP providers. Digiport's Location inside the 200 SE 1st Network Access Point (NAP) allows direct connectivity to over 15 Fiber Carriers. Digiport utilizes carriers that provide both redundancy and diversity. Diversity is the term describing a Multi- Path network design, a design utilizing both multiple fiber optic carriers and independent fiber optic pathways out of the facility. Many other ISPs will advertise "multiple" carriers, but all carriers are delivered over common fiber pathways. Digiport utilizes both redundancy and diversity in carrier selection.

Why Locate Downtown?
Density and Selection
Downtown Miami is THE location for network connectivity and IT services. The downtown business district brings the combination of fiber density and carrier selection to create the most highly wired section of South Florida. In addition to the fiber optic density, Downtown Miami brings the most resilient power infrastructure of any area in the region. Digiport is served by no less than three independent substations and receives power through undergound power feeds providing storm based protection.

What is Redundancy?
Multiple Carriers & BGP
The Internet is an extremely decentralized network of computers connected by traditional copper and newer fiber optic cables. The internet provides for redundancy through BGP or Border Gateway Protocol. BGP is a mapping and ranking system that allows systems with multiple carrier paths, redundancy, the ability to chart and rank pathways to and from endpoint over multiple carriers allowing single pathways to fail and the data flow to continue. Digiport employs BGP assuring customers of multiple paths of entry and exit into the network.

How much Bandwith do I Need?
Performance?
Network connectivity speed depends on many aspects of network design, though the primary focuses at the ISP level are equipment capacity, dependency on loop carriers, circuit capacity and underlying Carriers.
Digiport provides nearly unlimited capacity availability based on its location in the 200 Building NAP. Current carriers include Cogent Communications, the largest ISP in the world, and Level3, the strongest IP provider in the US.
Digiport currently offers 2 Gbps of connectivity with the ability to scale as customer require.
|
How is Bandwidth Measured?
95% Percentile
Bandwidth is measured in capacity used. Digiport utilizes the 95th percentile method for calculation which measures customer utilization at the 95th highest point of use during a month. This system allows a customer to Burst usage for 4.9% of the month during periods of high activity without effecting monthly expense.
|
Is my Circuit Burstable?
What is Bursting?
Bursting is the ability to grow your business internet usage without having to order multiple circuits. Digiport offers customers burstable connectivity in multiple sizes. Entry level utilization allows for 1-10 Mbps bursting circuits, larger customers can receive 10 Mbps - 100 Mbps circuit sizes, and enterprise customers receive up to 1000 Mbps circuit sizes. Bursting allows customers as a pay as you grow expense option for growting businesses.
